The objective of the project is to implement a motion detection system in the μC using this 3-axis
accelerometer, that:

• Detect any movement of the μC board and generate a visual and audible alarm.
  • visual alarm – blinking the 3 LEDs located at HELP board with 5 Hz
  • audible alarm – sound the buzzer with a 4 kHz PWM signal
• Stop the alarms 5 seconds after the movement stops
• Disable the alarm manually (before the 5 seconds are up) by pressing pushbutton S1
• Alarms will start again when movement is detected

Key features for the project that have be used:

• ADC to sample the 3-axis accelerometer (ADCINA7, B1, A2) with 1 kHz
• GPIOs (6,7,8) controlling the LED1-3 on HELP board
• ePWM (1A) controlling the buzzer with a 4 kHz, 50% duty cycle signal
• An external interrupt for GPIO (27) connected to pushbutton S1
• A 5-second timer (Cpu Timer 0) to disable the alarms
